Meet Githa Lidja

Mrs. Githa Lidja is the founder and General Secretary of The Githa Lidja Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged families in the Tshopo province, especially children suffering from anaemia. Born and raised in Kisangani, she has always been driven by a deep commitment to her community.

Her vision for the foundation was inspired by the urgent need for better healthcare, nutrition, and economic opportunities for vulnerable families. Under her leadership, the foundation is building a specialized hospital for anemic children and implementing sustainable initiatives in agriculture, disability empowerment, and small business support.

Mrs. Githa Lidja’s work is transforming lives, with the goal of not only uplifting children in Tshopo province but eventually improving the future of children across the Democratic Republic of Congo. She invites all partners, volunteers, and donors to join in this mission of lasting change.
