About Us
About The Founder
I am the founder and general secretary of The Githa Lidja Foundation, a nonprofit organization
deeply rooted in my birthplace and hometown of Kisangani. My passion for helping others,
especially vulnerable children, stems from growing up in the Tshopo province and witnessing
firsthand the challenges that many disadvantaged families face.
Today, our foundation focuses on addressing critical health issues, particularly childhood
anemia, by providing essential care and planning the construction of a specialized clinic to
support affected children. Our mission extends beyond health, as we also focus on improving
the lives of underprivileged families through sustainable agricultural projects and empower
people with disabilities, offering them vocational training and support for small business
creation.
My personal commitment to improving the lives of those in need is the driving force behind our
work, and together with our dedicated team, I am determined to build a brighter future for the
communities we serve.
